Papers of Doug Cornell (1917-1988), journalist by profession, occupied a senior position in the Bureau of Information during World War II, engaged in propaganda and communications work through all media. He was accredited to the Royal Party throughout the 1947 Royal Tour of South Africa and Rhodesia. Includes correspondence with his colleagues, reports on the Second World War and Royal Tour of SA, various documents on the UCT 150 Anniversary celebrations, short stories and poems.
