Wuppertal, established in 1830 by two German missionaries of the Rhenish Missionary Society, is located in the Cederberg area of the Western Cape. This project, which was conducted in 1999, explores the community’s relation to the Wuppertal Moravian mission station (established in 1865). Themes include: agriculture; community; historical background; life histories; religion; Rhenish missionaries; work. These interviews expand on the research conducted by the same interviewer in Cwc18.
