Biographical history
He was born in New Zealand and came to South Africa in 1975 to study at the Michaelis School of Fine Arts at the University of Cape Town. He produced an important collection of social documentary photographs of people in District Six, Cape Town. Konings does freelance design for marketing communications including branding and advertising for companies.
