Correspondence between the Currey Family and the Western Province Agricultural Society, the Public Works Department and the University of Cape Town. The letters deal mainly with the Currey family’s rights as tenants of Welgelegen, as defined in Rhodes’ will and the boundaries, right of way, as well as the general upkeep of the property by the P.W.D. Included are letters from “Grey” (one of Rhodes’ executors?), E.R. Syfret, Lionel Phillips, A.V.H.
