They interested me very much, and I was glad to see you did so well.” He then tells her of a very difficult task he has set himself and lists the people he is trying to contact in this connection. “I am trying to get something very difficult to get* and it requires all my thought, time and strength to try to interest people in it, and after all it may only be moonshine. But I have the support of such men as Murchison, Huxley . . . Sir Henry Rawlinson . . . Sir Charles Lyell . . .”
