The Liza Key Film Archive was deposited with Special Collections (African Studies Film Collection), UCT Libraries, directly from Liza Jane Key in 2011.
Accessioning and initial processing were conducted by Freddy Ogterop and succeeded by Beverley Angus.
In 2017, the AtoM record was made by Brian Michael Muller and Andile Ngceba. In the same year, all relevant paper-based material was digitised by Junaid Lucas while all audio-visual material was digitised by Andile Ngceba and Brian Michael Muller.
All digital asset migrations were conducted by Andile Ngceba and Brian Michael Muller under the supervision of Niklas Zimmer.
