Interviews conducted with a range of artists who live in low-income areas of Cape Town such as Khayelitsha, Langa and Gugulethu. There is a focus on the contexts and conditions that affect artistic practice. Themes include: art/craft debates; art practice related to trade and commerce; Community Arts Project; Eastern Cape landscape; historical influences; indigenous traditions; process of making art; rural backgrounds.
