A. (a) Short autobiography of Mr. C.P. Walgate, typescript, 4pp.;
(b) 2pp. of photographs : (i) architects at Delhi, 1919, including Baker, Lutyens and Mr. Walgate; (ii.) "Baker's staff in London, 1913-14" (including Mr. Walgate), and "Baker in his room at the same time";
(c) holograph letter from Sir Herbert Baker to Mr. C.P. Walgate,dated 3 March 1920 from Cobham;
(d) Notes on “men who helped us”: C.H.N. Merrifield, T.W. Milligan, R. Stubbs, C.H. Langley and E. White; and a note re Rhodes statue by Mrs. Marion Walgate.
B. Programme : Order of proceedings at the laying of the foundation Stone of the New Buildings at Groote Schuur, 1.5.1925 by H.R.H. the Prince of Wales (later the Duke of Windsor), the Chancellor of the University of Cape Town.
