Nadia von Ancken dicovered severall letters written by Neville Alexander to her grandmother, as well as Alexander's name recurring in several diary entries. Recognising the value of the letters for South African struggle history, she presented the letters to the Rendsburg Rotary Club which supports a German student at UCT, Miss Anneke Eichstedt. Eichstedt contacted a local Rotary club to facilitate the hand-over of the letters to UCT Libraries, the custodian of a large collection of Neville Alexander records. A group of Germans from the Rendsburg club were to holiday in South Africa, and they brought the letters to SA. At a joint meeting of the Noon Gun Rotary Club and the Roggebaai Club, on 9 February 2016, the letters were handed over to UCT Libraries.
